Italy's regulated gaming industry will have its own space at ICE Barcelona 2027. Casa Italia, a new initiative developed by IGE – Italian Gaming Expo & Conference and GN Media in strategic partnership with WorldGaming, the organiser of ICE, makes its debut when the show runs from 18 to 20 January at Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
The organisers describe Casa Italia as more than an exhibition pavilion. It is designed as a meeting point for Italian and international operators, suppliers, institutions, regulators and trade associations, with the aim of showcasing Italy's industrial and technological strengths and opening new routes to international collaboration.
What Casa Italia will offer
The programme will include sessions on regulated markets, innovation, consumer protection, sustainability and responsible gaming, alongside dedicated networking. Casa Italia will also connect with ICE initiatives built to foster dialogue within the international regulatory community.
The official inauguration is set for Monday 18 January 2027 at 12:00. The partners plan Casa Italia as a long-term initiative within the IGE/GN Media and WorldGaming/ICE partnership, rather than a one-off presence at a single show.
What the organisers said
“With Casa Italia, we want to give an entire ecosystem a shared home and a stronger international voice. Italy is not only a major market, but also a source of industrial and regulatory expertise. Our ambition is to turn participation at ICE into a lasting platform connecting businesses, institutions and international markets – not a one-off showcase, but a project capable of creating value over time.”
“Italy is a major force in European gaming, and Casa Italia offers a valuable opportunity to connect its expertise with ICE's global community. Through this initiative, we aim to encourage new exchanges between businesses, institutions and regulators, strengthening the dialogue and growth opportunities that make ICE a key international meeting place.”
Why it matters for suppliers
Italy is one of Europe's largest regulated gaming markets. For suppliers and platform providers looking at the Italian market, Casa Italia gives a single place at ICE to meet the country's operators, trade bodies and regulators in one setting.
