Big Time Gaming launches MONOPOLY Money Megaways slot

BTG's second MONOPOLY slot of 2026 puts Mr. Monopoly at the centre of a Hold and Spin feature, with up to 117,649 ways and wins up to 29,700x.

Big Time Gaming has released MONOPOLY Money, a very high-volatility Megaways slot built around Mr. Monopoly. It runs on six reels with up to 117,649 ways to win, pays up to 29,700x the stake and has an RTP of up to 96.58%. It is BTG's second MONOPOLY game this year, after MONOPOLY Rush Hour.

Hold and Spin: Mr. Monopoly collects the board

Most of the game's value sits in Hold and Spin. Title Deeds, Community Chest cards and Chance cards all count as bonus symbols, and six or more of them start the feature. Each position on the screen then spins as its own reel.

  • Title Deeds: Mr. Monopoly collects any Title Deed worth the same as or less than his current value, and adds it to his total.
  • Money Bags: he starts with three. A spin with no new card costs one bag, and every card collected gives one back, up to three.
  • Community Chest: pays a bonus prize of up to 2,500x when the round ends.
  • Chance: held to the end, then turns into a Credit Prize (added to his value) or a Restart, which clears the screen and replays the round while keeping his value. BTG compares this to passing Go.
  • MONOPOLY Bonus: collect Title Deeds in all eight colours for up to 2,500x more.

Free Spins and buy options

Three or more Scatters give 12 free spins, plus two for each extra Scatter. Mr. Monopoly starts with a random value of up to 15x and stays for the whole round. Every Title Deed he collects adds one to the Megaways win multiplier, with no cap. Five or more cards can trigger Hold and Spin inside the free spins, and three or more Scatters add four more spins. His final value is paid once, after the last spin.

Players can also use BTG's Power Play, which costs 8x the stake, guarantees at least 10,000 Megaways each spin and makes the features land more often. Where bonus buys are allowed, Hold and Spin costs 60x and Free Spins 90x.

What they said

Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming, said:

“When most people think of MONOPOLY they picture Mr. Monopoly, so we built this game around him. He starts small and gets stronger with every Title Deed he picks up. Watching him work towards the expensive properties is where Hold and Spin gets its tension.

“We wanted the Chance and Community Chest Cards to do something players would recognise from the board game. A Restart that keeps his value is basically passing Go, and in Free Spins everything he collects feeds a multiplier that doesn’t stop climbing.”

Gamitas view

MONOPOLY is one of the most worked brands in casino content, and much of that work happens inside the same group. BTG has been part of Evolution since 2021, and Evolution already runs MONOPOLY-branded live game shows. Two BTG MONOPOLY slots in one year suggests the group sees the brand as a portfolio line across slots and live casino, not a one-off licence.

For operators, a recognised brand helps in the lobby and in marketing, but it usually comes with licence costs built into the deal and tight rules on how the brand can be shown. The bonus buy is the other thing to check before launch, as several regulated markets, including the UK, do not allow it. Operators can compare branded and Megaways content from other studios on our slots supplier pages.
