Swiss Casinos completes ReelLink rollout across all four of its casinos

ReelLink, Swiss Casinos' platform for running online games on land-based slot machines, is now live in Zurich, Pfäffikon, Winterthur and St Gallen, with 41 machines planned by year-end.

Swiss Casinos has finished rolling out ReelLink, its in-house platform for bringing online game content to physical slot machines, across all four of its casinos.

The rollout in numbers

  • Casinos: Zurich, Pfäffikon (Casino Zürichsee), Winterthur and St Gallen.
  • Machines: 24 running now, with 17 more planned before the end of the year, for 41 across the group.
  • Timeline: live in Winterthur and Pfäffikon since December 2025, then extended to Zurich and St Gallen in July 2026.
  • How it works: game content is separated from the cabinet and plugged into the existing casino management system, so player tracking, accounting and regulatory reporting stay unchanged.

What they said

Marcel Tobler, CEO of Swiss Casinos, said ReelLink was built "to change how players experience a casino floor" and that the group now wants to take it to game providers and other operators internationally. Thomas Cavelti, casino director at Casino Zürichsee in Pfäffikon, said it lets the venue try new titles without buying and swapping cabinets. Deborah Conte Santoro, managing director of ReelLink, said the product exists to close the content gap between online gaming and the casino floor, not as technology for its own sake.

Gamitas view

ReelLink is listed on Gamitas as a game aggregation platform. A ReelLink Cube inside each cabinet controls the bill validator, ticket-in ticket-out, buttons and lighting, while the games stream from the studios' own servers. The company reports BMM Testlabs certification and approval from the Swiss regulator ESBK.

For online studios, this is a route onto casino floors through a single integration, without building land-based hardware. For casinos, it means changing the game mix without replacing cabinets. If Swiss Casinos takes ReelLink abroad as planned, studios that are already live online stand to benefit first. Buyers can compare game aggregators on Gamitas, and our guide to what testing labs certify explains what a BMM certificate covers.
