NuxGame has added tournaments, leaderboards and wager races to its casino platform. They work on games from any provider in an operator's library, so the operator no longer needs a studio to agree to, or run, the promotion.
What was launched
The Cyprus-based platform provider said on 9 October 2026 that the feature is live for both real-money and sweepstakes casinos. Until now, most casino tournaments have been run by the game studios themselves, which ties an operator to that studio's titles and terms. NuxGame built its own tournament engine instead, so the operator sets the rules, prizes and scoring across any mix of providers.
Operators set everything from the NuxGame back office:
- Schedule: daily, weekly, monthly or custom periods, plus races scored on turnover.
- Prizes: cash, shop points or loyalty-tier experience for each rank, with the total cost shown before the tournament goes live.
- Games: picked by provider, game type, category or single title. Casino content only for now.
- Points: a base rate per unit of turnover, with higher or lower rates for individual games.
- Entry rules: minimum bet, minimum number of bets and minimum turnover.
A setting can exclude games where players could collect points too cheaply. Up to ten tournaments can run at once, players see a live leaderboard on a dedicated tournaments page, and results flow into platform reporting. Player segmentation, such as tournaments for one loyalty tier, is the next step on the roadmap.
Chief Product Officer Denis Kosinsky said operators had long asked for tournaments but were limited by provider terms, and that per-game point rates make promotions a way to manage margin, not just a giveaway.
Gamitas view
Tournaments have usually been a reason for operators to add one more studio's promotional tool. Moving them into the platform shifts that power back to the operator, and it gives NuxGame's clients something to bring to the table when negotiating with studios. That is the more interesting detail in this launch.
For buyers comparing platforms, gamification is now a feature worth asking about directly. Gamitas lists 101 platform providers, 59 of them offering a casino platform and 42 a game aggregation product. Only some of them handle tournaments in the platform itself. The NuxGame profile on Gamitas lists its turnkey, sportsbook and aggregation products. Its only licence on record is a Romanian B2B supplier licence, so operators in other regulated markets should ask what certification the new feature carries there.
