Evolution has opened a live casino studio in São Paulo. Unlike almost every other supplier announcement in this industry, this one is about a building — and in live casino the building is the product.
What was announced
The company said on 17 July 2025 that it had opened Brazil's first fully localised live casino studio, running Blackjack Clássico, Blackjack Illimitado, Brazilian Blackjack, localised versions of Crazy Time and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, and a customised ICE Fishing. It said it had been the country's first licensed supplier on day one of the new federal framework, which took effect in January 2025. Neither the studio's size nor the number of tables or staff was given.
Natalia Torres, head of region for Latin America, said the studio “affords us full flexibility to customise everything — from game selection and dealer language to branding and marketing support”.
Why live casino is different
A slot is software. It can be certified in one place and served everywhere the licences allow. Live casino is a television production: real dealers at real tables, filmed continuously, streamed with latency low enough to bet against.
That creates constraints nothing else in the supply chain has. Dealers must speak the language, which means hiring locally. Latency is governed by distance, so a Brazilian player served from a European studio has a measurably worse experience. Several regulated markets go further and require the studio to be inside the jurisdiction.
So “localised live casino” is not a marketing layer over the same product. It is a different production, in a different country, with different staff — and that is capital expenditure, not a certification.

If you are buying live casino in Brazil
Ask where the tables physically are and in which language the dealers work. A supplier offering “Brazilian” tables filmed in Europe is offering something different from one filmed in São Paulo, and the difference is visible to your players in the first minute.
