EGT Digital has two accreditations from PAGCOR: one for game content provision, covering electronic casino games and sports betting, and one for game aggregation. They are separate permissions, and the second is the one that changes what the company can sell.
What was announced
The Sofia-based supplier said on 10 September 2026 that PAGCOR had granted both accreditations, covering its in-house casino games, its sportsbook and its aggregation solution. Mariana Manchina, director of EGT Philippines, called them “an important milestone for EGT Philippines”. No accreditation numbers were published and no operators were named.
Why content and aggregation are split
A content accreditation lets a supplier put its own games in front of players. An aggregation accreditation lets it carry other suppliers' games and distribute them — a different activity, with different risk.
The regulator's concern with an aggregator is accountability. When a player disputes an outcome on a third-party game delivered through an aggregator's platform, somebody has to be answerable, and the regulator wants that to be a party it has accredited. So aggregation is licensed in its own right.
For a supplier the commercial difference is large. Content accreditation alone means selling your catalogue. Aggregation accreditation means becoming the route to market for everyone else's — a platform business rather than a studio one.
The Philippine context
PAGCOR both regulates and operates gambling, an unusual combination. Its recent direction has been towards tightening: winding down the offshore operator regime that drew criticism, and building the accreditation and testing apparatus that mature markets have. Accreditations granted now sit inside a framework that is still being assembled.
What our records show
We hold seven licence records for EGT Digital, all at published-source tier and none carrying a number: Buenos Aires IPLyC, Sweden's Spelinspektionen, Peru's MINCETUR, the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner, the Hellenic Gaming Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority and Romania's ONJN. That is a broad footprint recorded thinly, and closing those gaps would be worth doing.
We record it live in eight markets: Brazil, Greece, Italy, Malta, Mexico, Romania, Spain and Sweden. Founded in 2020, it supplies the X-Nave platform — sportsbook, CRM, payments and aggregation — alongside in-house content.
If you are buying
If you are taking aggregated content, ask which accreditation the supplier holds in your market and which of the carried studios are accredited there too. An aggregator accredited locally does not automatically make every studio on its platform available — and that catalogue shortfall is usually discovered at launch.
