Inspired's slots live with thirteen Alberta operators on day one

The supplier named an unusually long launch list, including the government's own Play Alberta. What that breadth tells you, and what it does not.

Inspired Entertainment's slots went live across thirteen named Alberta operators on 13 July 2026, the day the province opened. Most day-one announcements name one or two partners, or none. Thirteen is worth pausing on.

What was announced

The Nasdaq-listed supplier said Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis had approved it as an iGaming Goods or Services Supplier and that its online slots were live with bet365, BetRivers, DraftKings, Golden Nugget, Caesars Palace, BetMGM, PartyPoker, Sports Interaction, Betty, FanDuel, The Score, Stardust Casino and Play Alberta.

President and chief executive Brooks Pierce said the launch “represents an important milestone for the Canadian gaming industry”. No figures were given.

What thirteen operators actually tells you

Less about Inspired than it first appears, and more about how a new province works. Most of those operators already carried Inspired content in Ontario or the United States. When a province opens, the integrations do not have to be rebuilt — the operator turns on a market it has already certified against, and every supplier already in its stack arrives at once.

So a long day-one list is mostly evidence of an established position elsewhere. The genuinely notable name is the last one: Play Alberta, the government's own platform, which continues to operate alongside the private entrants. A supplier live on both sides of that line sits in an unusual position, because the state operator and its new competitors are now buying the same content.

What our records show

We hold two licences for Inspired, both confirmed by opening the issuing register ourselves: a Malta Gaming Authority B2B licence (MGA/B2B/784/2020) and a UK Gambling Commission licence (001090-R-104165-020). We record it live in two markets on our own narrower test, Malta and the United Kingdom, which sits well behind the North American footprint this announcement implies — a gap in our coverage rather than in theirs.

The company supplies virtual sports, online slots, Hybrid Dealer games and server-based retail gaming, and the retail heritage is the part competitors do not have.

Not yet checked by us. The AGLC approval carries no number here and we have not confirmed it on a public list, nor have we verified the thirteen operator relationships individually.

If you are buying

A supplier already integrated with your operator platform is a materially cheaper addition than one that is not, and this list is a quick way to see whether that applies to you. It says nothing about which titles perform in Canada, and virtual sports — the part of the catalogue Inspired is best known for — is not mentioned in this launch at all.
