Evenbeter, until recently EvenBet Gaming, has a five-year B2B supplier licence from Spelinspektionen covering its poker and casino software. The five-year term is the headline; the annual obligations attached to it are the part that actually costs money.
What was announced
The Malta-based provider said on 15 July 2026 that Sweden's gambling authority had granted the licence, covering its online poker software and casino solutions and allowing operators to “combine poker with established casino verticals”. It follows an earlier Danish supplier approval. The company noted Sweden's channelisation rate of more than 90%, and said it would manage mandatory annual security audits and random number generator testing under Swedish rules.
What a Swedish supplier licence requires
Sweden introduced B2B supplier licensing in 2023, several years after opening its operator market, and it is among the more demanding regimes to hold rather than to obtain. The recurring obligations include an annual security audit and periodic RNG testing, both at the supplier's cost, with results filed.
That changes how a supplier should be assessed. A grant date tells you a company cleared a threshold once. A licence held for several years through those annual cycles tells you it can keep clearing it — which is the more useful signal, and the one a five-year term makes possible to check later.
The 90% channelisation figure is the reason suppliers bother. It means the overwhelming majority of Swedish play runs through licensed operators, so the licensed market is close to the whole market — unusual in Europe and the reason Sweden is worth the audit burden.
What our records show
We hold three licences for the company. The Malta Gaming Authority B2B licence (MGA/B2B/769/2019) is at our highest tier, confirmed on the Authority's register. Swedish and Danish records sit at published-source tier, neither carrying a number in our data.
We record it live in three markets: Denmark, Malta and Sweden. It was founded in 2001 — unusually long-lived for this industry — and supplies poker platforms, a turnkey casino platform and a game aggregator. The rename from EvenBet Gaming to Evenbeter is recent, which is worth knowing when searching registers, because entries may still carry the old name.
If you are buying
For a supplier that has changed name, ask which legal entity holds the licence. The register entry follows the entity, not the brand, and a mismatch between the two is the most common reason a licence check comes back empty when the licence genuinely exists.
