Evenbeter holds a five-year B2B supplier licence from Spillemyndigheden covering its poker software, turnkey casino platform, table games, bingo and slots. Denmark made supplier licensing mandatory from 1 January 2025, which is the context the announcement assumes you already have.
What was announced
The Malta-based provider said on 13 May 2026 that the Danish Gambling Authority had granted the licence for a five-year term, covering online poker software, its turnkey casino platform, roulette, baccarat, blackjack, punto banco, bingo and slots. Its poker platform supports more than 33 game types. Chief executive Dmitry Starostenkov called it “another important milestone in EvenBet's long-term strategy”. No licence number was published.
The 2025 rule change
Denmark's original regime, dating to 2012, licensed operators and left suppliers behind them: an operator answered for the games it carried, and the studio behind those games had no direct relationship with the regulator. From January 2025 that changed — suppliers now need their own licence, in their own name.
The effect is that a supplier's Danish position became checkable for the first time. Before the change there was no entry to look up; now Spillemyndigheden publishes licence holders, so any claim about Denmark can be tested rather than taken.
It also creates a hard line. A supplier without a licence cannot lawfully supply Danish operators, regardless of how long it had been doing so before. That is why announcements of this kind cluster around the commencement date and for a year or two afterwards, as the remaining suppliers work through the queue.
What our records show
We hold three licences for the company. The Malta Gaming Authority B2B licence (MGA/B2B/769/2019) is at our highest tier, confirmed on the Authority's own register. Danish and Swedish records sit at published-source tier, neither carrying a number in our data.
We record it live in three markets: Denmark, Malta and Sweden. Founded in 2001, it is one of the longer-established suppliers we track, and it recently renamed from EvenBet Gaming to Evenbeter — worth knowing, because register entries follow the legal entity rather than the brand and may still show the older name.
If you are buying
A poker platform is a heavier integration than a slots feed, and liquidity matters more than catalogue size: a poker room with few players is worse than none. Ask about shared liquidity arrangements in Denmark specifically, because that is what determines whether the product works, and no licence tells you anything about it.
