About SBC Awards 2026
The SBC Awards are SBC's flagship awards programme for the betting and gaming industry, now in their thirteenth year. They recognise operators and suppliers across all major disciplines, with a judging panel of senior executives drawn from operators, suppliers, payments firms and investors. The 2026 edition has 38 categories in three sections: Operator Awards (e.g. Operator of the Year by organisation size, Casino and Sportsbook Operator of the Year, Socially Responsible Initiative), Supplier Awards (slots developers, platforms, aggregators, sportsbook and live casino suppliers, data, marketing and innovation) and Payment & Compliance Awards. The shortlist was published on 24 July 2026; Leader of the Year is revealed only on the night. The ceremony takes place on the evening of Thursday 1 October 2026 at MEO Arena in Lisbon, the final night of SBC Summit 2026. Broadcaster Kirsty Gallacher and former footballer John Terry host an evening of welcome drinks, a three-course dinner, the awards and entertainment, followed by the Infinity Lisbon party. Entry is by separately sold tables or individual tickets; dress code is smart casual.
