The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) describes itself as the only organisation of US state lawmakers that meets regularly to discuss gaming. Its members sit on or chair the legislative committees that oversee gaming in their states, and the council says it neither promotes nor opposes gaming, focusing instead on how the industry is regulated. The NCLGS Winter Meeting 2026 takes place from 9 to 12 December 2026 at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District in Savannah, Georgia. The organiser pitches it as a public forum where legislators, regulators and industry leaders from more than 30 states discuss emerging trends, regulatory challenges and the regulated and unregulated gaming landscape. NCLGS standing committees cover lotteries, pari-mutuels, casinos, responsible gaming, state-federal relations and internet wagering. The published agenda opens with a welcome reception on 9 December, followed by general and committee sessions, a keynote luncheon and an evening cocktail reception on 10 December, more sessions on 11 December, and a legislator/regulator roundtable on the closing morning of 12 December. Session topics and speakers had not been published when this entry was captured. Registration is tiered, with lower rates for legislators, government officials and media than for general industry attendees.
