About EGR Italy Awards 2026
The EGR Italy Awards are EGR's annual awards programme dedicated to the Italian igaming market. They recognise operators, affiliates and service providers for innovation, sustainability, customer engagement and product development over the previous twelve months, and every entry must relate specifically to work in the Italian market. Entries are scored by independent external judges, and Deloitte adjudicates the results; EGR itself takes no part in scoring. The 2026 edition covers a judging period of August 2025 to July 2026 and is organised into affiliate, operator, service (supplier), general and innovation category groups. New for 2026 are an Affiliate network of the year award and an Individual achievement award. The official shortlist has been published, with finalists ranging from major operators such as Sisal, SNAI, PokerStars and Marathonbet to content, platform, payments and affiliate businesses. The ceremony is a black-tie evening on 20 October 2026 at the Rome Cavalieri hotel in Rome, running from a 6:30pm drinks reception through the awards dinner at 8pm and an afterparty until midnight, hosted by sports journalist and presenter Anna Maria Baccaro. Companies attend by booking tables, and the invitation-only EGR Italy Briefing for senior Italian operators and affiliates takes place at the same venue earlier that day.
