Gamstop operates the national self-exclusion schemes for gambling in Great Britain. Its core service, Gamstop Online, lets consumers block themselves from all GB-licensed gambling websites and apps for six months to five years, and since 2020 integration with it has been a licence condition for online operators serving British customers, including a requirement to check their customer base at least every 24 hours. Through Gamstop Group it also runs Gamstop Betting Shops, the multi-operator self-exclusion scheme for high-street bookmakers formerly known as MOSES. The organisation is not-for-profit, is led by CEO Fiona Palmer, and publishes a list of more than 150 integrated operators.
