SBC Summit Canada is the successor to the Canadian Gaming Summit, which ran for 28 editions before SBC Events renamed it in 2026. It is positioned as the only event devoted entirely to the Canadian gaming and betting market, giving attendees a focused setting to discuss local opportunities. The summit gathers the whole Canadian ecosystem: international operators, provincial Crown corporations, regulators, First Nations-run businesses, affiliates and technology suppliers. The organiser expects 3,000+ industry professionals for 2027, including more than 1,000 operator representatives. The programme combines a multi-stage conference, an exhibition floor and networking. Recent editions focused on Ontario's open market, Alberta's move to a regulated iGaming market, responsible gambling, advertising, AML and cybersecurity. The 2027 edition returns to the summit's traditional June slot in Toronto.
