The 2026 Gaming in Spain Conference is a one-day event on Thursday 15 October 2026 at the ECIJA auditorium on Calle Serrano in central Madrid. Organised by Gaming in Europe, it is aimed at everyone working professionally in Spain's regulated online gambling industry, from licensed operators and suppliers to lawyers, regulators and trade bodies. The programme opens with regulatory developments, including a keynote by the Director General of the DGOJ, the implementation of cross-operator deposit limits and the regulator's problem gambling detection algorithm. Further blocks look at the size of the Spanish market and the threat of offshore competition, illegal gambling advertising, crypto casinos, fraud prevention and the EU's new AML/CFT rules, and whether new formats such as prediction betting and sweepstakes can fit Spain's current framework. A closing block covers promising Latin American markets, alongside breakout sessions. Confirmed speakers include DGOJ leadership, Jdigital's Director General, a Chief Inspector of Spain's National Police, and representatives of ECIJA, H2 Gambling Capital, Blask, Adyen, Mindway AI, BetBlocker, Avanti, MDF Partners and iGaming.com.
