About BiG Africa Summit 2027

The 13th annual BiG Africa Summit, run by Eventus International, takes place from 1 to 4 February 2027 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino and Convention Resort in Gaborone, Botswana. Billed by the organiser as "the home of African iGaming", the event has been running since 2014 and gathers operators, regulators, suppliers and investors with an interest in legal remote gaming and betting across Southern Africa and the wider continent. The programme opens on 1 February with the BiG Welcoming Evening and the awards ceremony, followed by two full days of conference sessions and an exhibition floor (2-3 February) with daily networking lunches and drinks. The fourth day (4 February) is reserved for the BiG Excursion for VIP delegates. The organiser pitches the summit at C-level decision makers and highlights regulatory insight, market intelligence on the African gaming climate, and new technology, payment and software solutions. Free visitor passes cover the welcome evening and expo, and licensed African operators can apply for up to two free operator/affiliate passes.
