WhoYou is a Johannesburg-based digital identity company that provides biometric verification, onboarding and compliance services through a single API. For iGaming operators it offers mobile-first player onboarding with document checks, face matching and liveness detection, plus ongoing re-verification at withdrawals and high-risk logins. Its WhoYou Comply gateway connects to South African government and credit bureau data sources and international sanctions lists for KYC/AML checks. The newer Persons of Interest layer screens onboarding selfies against flagged-face lists, which gaming operators can use to enforce self-exclusion.
