Veridocs builds identity verification technology for in-person settings, scanning physical IDs under white, infrared and UV light and checking them against a library of about 4,500 document templates. Its Evolution platform combines ID authentication, facial comparison, mobile driver's licence verification, document imaging and watchlist screening in modular form. The company traces its origins to automating watchlist checks for a Las Vegas casino and says its system is used across most of the Las Vegas Strip. For gaming operators it supports cage and payout checks, credit and marker issuance, and enforcement of self-exclusion and barred-patron lists. It also serves banks, credit unions, retailers, data centres and vehicle rental counters.
